Plot
The plot involves three law students who drop out of a third-tier law school after learning that the same hedge fund that owns a student loan bank has an ownership interest in their school. All three are heavily indebted to the bank for their own student loans.
The plot was inspired by a 2014 article in The Atlantic entitled "The Law School Scam" by Paul Campos.
